Energy & Balance

So that you can heal around the unexpected bend follow the Moxa ARC to Maintaining Health:

Align - Instill Structural Balance to make sure Qi and Prana energy flow and pathways are clear and optimally functioning

Regenerate - Heal and Revive dysfunctional organs and organ systems, including the lymphatic, nervous, endocrine, and reproductive systems, and accompanying glands and tissue

Calibrate/Coordinate - Standardize and Harmonize the working relationship between various organs and organ systems.

Moxibustion directly increases Qi and Prana flow and heals the system, bringing about a state of balance. It is finally gaining attention in the US and West via the field of Bioenergetics led by the National Academy of Sciences and the National Institute of Health. Bioenergetics studies the transformation of chemical bonds at the cellular level in harnessing energy via metabolic pathways. In other words, this is the study of utilizable energy in biological systems. In this regard, there has been particular interest in heat based therapies, including moxibustion, and their acute effectiveness in the treatment of chronic diseases and health conditions.

The force called Qi:
Qi pronounced as Chi in the Chinese system, and its equivalent Ki in the Japanese system, translates as the life force that emerges from the energy held within each of us, which runs down pathways called meridians in the body. This is the foundation to our health as an alliance of body, mind and spirit. Qi enables our optimal and sustainable functioning at all levels of the system via its pathways and flows. When stagnation and disease is present within the system, Qi energy is deficient and its flow has been cut.

Qi and Prana:
Qi in the Chinese system translates as Prana in the Indian Yogic and Ayurvedic systems. Prana, which literally means breath, signifies the process through which human energy and potential capacity transform into a life force which in turn enables us to create and perform. This is our foundation to having substance and influence. Energy to Force to Form is the generative sequence. Our body-mind is then a microcosm, a universe from within, which is sustained through our breath and inspired by its own set of principles. Our optimal engagement with the global and local world outside is enabled from this root. The energy necessary for each of us to follow our passion and path, maintain a healthy life and grow with inspiration is generated by our life force.

Qi and Sruti:
Sruti translates as tonal harmony and the pinnacle of balance that each of us can feasibly embody. One can say, Qi emerges when one’s life energy transforms into a force generated via breath or Prana. In that intersection, emerges our capacity to create via Sruti and have a "Voice". So, it makes sense that in developing one’s tonal memory and capacity to fully embody the voice, there results an increase in one’s Qi energy. From this cycle there materializes the potential to become more and more balanced within our Chakra energy centers and as an entire mind-body system. Tone and rhythm literally become one's calling for a healthy state of body and mind that is sustainable from within. This is the essence of Resonance Yoga®, a practice that goes hand in hand with Japanese Moghusa treatments. Call or Learn more about Upcoming Workshops and Classes

Sustainable Balance Treatments

Resonance Yoga®, combined with Japanese Moghusa Treatments initiates mind/body alignment via the voice and tonal exercises. The treatment helps develop a patient’s tonal memory as a tool to maintain health and sustainably balance the use of energy as embodied through the voice. The treatment is uniquely designed to fit the needs of each patient and in accordance with the required moxibustion treatment cycle. The treatments introduce voice work and tonal exercises in every session or at the beginning/end of the treatment cycle.
